Welcome International Students!

Important:Scam alert from CINTAX.

Important: Travel news and update for International Students.

The latest OIS forms are available here.

New OPT changes: On April 8, 2008, DHS published the interim final rule that changes several key aspects of F-1 optional practical training (OPT). This is an interim final rule with request for public comment. Current interpretation can be found here. Please stay tuned to this page for updates regarding the 29-month OPT rule, which will be posted as they become available. Additional information can be found on the NAFSA website.

News Flash! OIS has implemented a new Appointment Scheduling & Event Registration system, so don't be surprised if things look a bit different. You will need to "register" the first time you use the system; after that you'll just need to enter your E# to enter the system.

Tax Update: All F & J students who were present inside the USA for even just 1 day in 2007 are required to file tax papers. OIS has contracted to provide our students access to CINTAX software to assist with this requirement. We emailed all current students their personal access code, however, if you have lost the code or never received the email, please contact Sue.
